Musket-ball (a.k.a. Civil War)
No matter what type of gun you have, you must load one ball into the breach after each shot (closed bolt may have one on top of chamber due to design).
TEAMS- Two teams ***try and make experience level equal on both teams***
TIME- 20-30 minutes should be long enough, or total elimination.
SETUP- Any size area, large or small. Reduce the velocity to close to 220-240 due to some close quarters combat being involved. NO LOADERS of any type, besides your hand, which must leave the top of the feed-neck before each shot. Paintballs can be carried in platic bags, pockets, pods....anything, but can't be attached to the marker. ANY GAME CAN BE PLAYED IN THIS FASHION AS A PLUS.
RULES- Players can carry as many paintballs as needed/wanted, but can not by any means use a hopper of any sort. One ball is loaded by hand after each shot. Classic rules of paintball also apply.
WINNING- Most eliminations in set time limit.
FOR MORE FUN WITH THIS GAME: Set up players in rows/columns and have a shooting line of players face off against another shooting line just like our boys did in the Civil War (Pre Civil War era, also)

Rabbit Hunting This is a spin off of a game my friends and i use to *invite* someone into our clan. GAME DESCRIPTION: One player goes against....o how about ten people? The one player is the rabbit and its rabbit season. TEAMS: One team is the rabbit, or the lone player. The other is the team of hunters out to kill the rabbit. Try to keep the hunters down to a limit (ten is good). If you have a newer person try with them as the rabbit first, nothing like throwing a noob into the mess of things . Or, have the decided rabbit pick out of a hat and draw a number 1-10, and whichever number he picks is how many hunters are after him. A cruel way to keep suspense is not to tell the rabbit how many hunters are after him. TIME: 20-30 minutes is a good time limit/cap. SETUP: Best if played in woods, but any size area, or any place will do. The hunter's setup: 12 paintballs each that must be loaded by hand after each shot, loading ONE. The bunny's setup: gets 2-4 minute headstart to hide and gets semi-auto with as much paint as desired. Also, the bunny gets to use a hopper and does not have to load by hand. RULES: Give the rabbit a head-start to run into the woods to hide or set-up a defensive position. When that time is completely over, shout to the bunny to let him know that he is now fair-game. The hunters can move together or spread out to search, but must use the same starting point. You are called out if you are marked, or run out of paint. WINNING: The game goes by rules in total elimination. If the rabbit shoots all of the hunters, the rabbit wins, or vice versa. for more of these games....be sure to visit otter sc's site at www.ottersccustoms.com/games.html

I like a little game called "The Cannon". Around 3:00 or so, the field owner/ref/cashier brings out a paintball cannon (4 ft. long) thats shoots paintballs in a "shotgun" like fashion. The rules are: Time: 20 min; People needed: at least 3 on each team. 1) The cannon is placed mid field. 2) Each team goes inside a fort on their end of the field. 3) When the ref says "Go", each team have to try and reach the cannon. 1 teammate from each team has to stay inside their fort. 4) When someone gets to the cannon, they have to fire it at the opposing team's fort. 5) If the fort is hit, who ever is inside it is out. 6) Then anyone in your fort is free to leave. 7) Once a fort has been hit, the cannon goes out of commision. And then its strait out Elemination. 8) If a fort is not hit, then the person at the cannon has to leave. And the cannon is still up for grabs. kinda confusing, but fun.

I like games on western town type fields. It has the aspects of speedball and woodsball, because you can run, lane, etc as well as hide and snipe and the like.

I like Speedball the most, but Woodsball can be fun if you have a ton of land to play on and have like big teams against eachother.

speedball....
also a nice game of tag, whoever is it gets a gun, no one else does and the people run around the field aimlessly trying not to get shot by whoever is it
or throwing up plastic plates and then seeing who can shoot them the most
