For those of you who are new to the game and not sure what to bring. Heres a quick list: 1) squeegie 2) a rag or two (or some paper towels) 3) cold water 4) lens cleaner (for when you get gogged) 5) athletic shoes (no metal cleats. There's a good chance that they'll pop the bunker) 6) extra set of batteries (if your hopper or gun are electric) 7) barrel plug/condom 8) breathable clothes 9) snacks (like candy bars and stuff) 10) Gatoraid (for your electrolites, or something like that) 11) macroline (if you use it) 12) alan wrenches 13) a hand chronograph (for outlaw) 14) a cell phone (ya never know) 15) sunblock (if its summer) 16) and duct tape! (it fixs everything, thats a fact) 17) gloves made specifically for paintball. 18) and some o-rings. Bringing a mask and marker goes without saying. Did I miss anything? feel free to add

How about some teflon tape and blue locktite. That's always good to have.

Paintball gloves are helpful. In peoples hands there is cartilidge, and under 18 or so the cartilidge is still very soft. If the ball hits your bare knuckle it can mess it up or effect it. Just spend $10-$25 and buy some protective paintball gloves.

OMG, i've been putting off paintball gloves for a while now. I got shot one time in the hand, hurt like a botch. I wanted to buy gloves, but then I thought "What are the odds it will happen again"?. So I go out and play again, get shot in the hand, and it just keeps repeating. I think I'll pick up some gloves with my Proflex some time this week.

I used to wear gloves, but then I forgot them one day and found I was more comfortable without them.

Well sometimes it depends on the gloves and who makes them with what material. Or also if the glove is too small for you it wont be comfortable. I bought a pair of 32 degrees gloves and they were sleeveless. It protcted your hand all the way up to probably a little farther than the knuckles. At least it covered the knuckles! Those gloves protected well but were uncomfortable in my opinion. At my store I tried on a pair of JT Premier series gloves and they were perfect. I think i'll buy them for $20 compared to alot of $40 gloves.
