A guide to picking out your paintball mask. *find a mask made by a respected company *make sure it is rated for the velocities of paintball, and not a glorified airsoft mask *spend the extra money on a thermal non-fogging mask (worth the money) *find a mask with an interchangeable or upgradeable lens *find a mask that fits your head comfortably and has cushy foam on the inside to reduce shock on your face *make sure the strap to adjust to your head will fit your head slightly tight, yet not too tight *make sure the lens, mask, and other parts have no defects EDIT: *try for a mask that is well-ventilated, in my case, i have found it not only makes it lighter, but easier to breathe *the visor on the mask serves two purposes: 1. to stop the sun from gettin into your eyes when playing 2. it helps deflect balls off the top without breaking *some companies have deals on colored lenses, which are just like having your sun-glasses on! *make sure to also find a cleaner with none, to little, ammonia, as it breaks down the lens quicker LINKS: www.buypmi.com/www.vforcepaintball.com/www.jtusa.com/2003/paintball/paintball_visionfx10.aspwww.brasseagle.com/products/product_detail2.asp?cat=Protection+Gearkingman.com/section/java/vision_systems.htmlI will update this later...but for now, go on with some helpful tips.
