My spyder xtra works great for woodsball...just a little too shiny...a quiet gun is good to have too which means probably getting electric gun but ya, you run the risk of getting it wet!

I prefer the Tippman 98 custom. Yea basicaly any gun COULD do woodsball but why play woodsball with a DYE dm5 or something that price.

Well, if you have a DM5 or any other high end electro gun, and your friends ask you to play woodsball, you're not going to tell them no, i can't, i have a DM5/Angel?any other high end electro. Obviously no one with that kind of gun buys it to play woodsball. But yea, low end semis are probably better suited for woodsball.

i used my omen a couple times playing woodsball, against kids who all had tippmanns, you deffinetly have an advantage when you see someone, but your always worrying about something on your gun, not getting it wet, hitting it on any rocks or anything, something breaking it, tippmanns are meant for woodsball because their so durable, their more of a take it out of the box, put a tank on, play, take tank off, put gun away and play again, not like higher end guns that need some tuneing and cleaning after you play

the good thing about using an electric gun is that they tend to be a little quieter!

Not sure you people know this but, you can get electro's wet, every board made has an anti-short circuit feature built in. Dan Voils of STD held a viking under water for 14 minutes without it having any issues, so your angel/dm5/shocker3 etc can take a couple of raindrops or a splash through a puddle.
